Modnation Racers?????????

I got the free psp game. I would like to have it for the ps3, but I don't want to spend the money if it's the same thing. I have the demo, and the only thing different I see is better graphics and drifting on the ps3 side. So, ow is the customization of the psp compared to the ps3? Is the rest pretty much the same?
