What is the best hair dye?!?

OK my friend dyed her hair with manic panic hair dye and she dyed it all pink and now its a few days later and her hair is orange! I was thinking about doing the same thing but ow i don't think i am going to go with manic panic does anyone know of a good hair dye company that stays in for awhile with colors like green, purple, blue, and other colors like that?
