Can i fly to new york with just my birth certificate?

Im 15yrs old and im going to New York to see my friend with cancer. I lost my Student ID. My mom says i can get my driving permit but i dunno ow long that will take. Can i use my Birth Certificate or another form of identification to get there,i only have 20 days to find out,i need accurate info please help!
