HELP!!! Something stuck behind tongue??!?!!?!?!?

Ok, so last night while I was eating dinner, all of the sudden i felt like something 'sharp' had gotten stuck sort of behind my tongue in the very very back on the left of it to be precise. It is not in my throat, but it is too far back behind my tongue for me to reach because i gag myself. It honestly feels JUST LIKE when you get one of those half popcorn shell things stuck in your gums, you know??? It feels EXACTLY like that...except it is way back there and i have not ate popcorn in months. I wasn't even eating anything that had small particles that could have gotten stuck! It doesn't hurt too bad, it is more aggravating than anything. It only bothers me when i move my tongue certain ways, like back and forth or to the left, which is the side it is located on...also when i say certain words like, "Ow". I did have a sore throat for a couple of days ago, it only lasted 2 days. I try and try but nothing comes out. It is definitely associated with my tongue, because that is what irritates it. Who knows, it may be in my tonsils or something i really don't know. I don't know what this is and i am really scared. You know the type of, "What is this?!?! Am I going to have to live like this forever?!?!" that type of scared...if you have had this same experience or know of anything that sounds like this, PLEASE HELP! It has only been there about 14 hours, but i am still scared. I thought it would go away over night....Help!!!
